Famous wrestling star Adam Copeland spoke to TMZ Sports about various topics, with a special focus on his acting career. Copeland had an interesting career path, wanting to try his hand at acting, just like many wrestlers before him. Although he fell in love with the job and clearly has a passion and love for it, Adam admits that he had trouble accepting that he was an actor.

However, after talking to his manager, the experienced wrestler finally accepted that he had another role in his life. It seems like he's doing well, right?

“[I] fell in love with it but I still kind of refused to call myself an actor. It wasn’t until my manager called me with the Emmy nomination news. He goes, ‘So do you consider yourself an actor now?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I guess I kind of have to.’”- he said, as quoted by Pwmania.

Wife's support

A great support in his career was his wife Beth, who expected that he would become the first wrestler nominated for an Emmy. Although the popular wrestler was skeptical about it, it turned out that his wife was right. Adam is grateful for her support, feeling that without her support he would hardly have reached such heights.

A few years ago, Edge revealed what things from the acting world helped him progress as a wrestler. However, when you are a professional, there are many things that shape you along the way, some less positive. It was all an important lesson for him to become the star he really is today.

“I think more than anything, the acting. But also just the trials and tribulations of life. Everything that I experienced in those nine years, having the career yanked out from under me, losing my mom, losing Beth’s dad, having two kids, that’s all life. Life lives here, and this is what people attach to.
